ONE OF OUR FAVORITE EXHIBITS...
...is the "Sitting Room". Included in the "Sitting Room" is a spinning wheel, a carpeted rocker from First National Bank, a doll and an 1887 highchair, and various craft items (including knitting needles, a tatting shuttle, & "Tilly" the kerosene heater. |

Highlighted exhibits also include a "Lead Soldier" collection, a display of pharmacy equipment, a hand plow, and, the "Guarantee Visible Pump".
Other exhibits include the coin operated pony ride "Sandy" from Fechtel's store, a switchboard from Florida Telephone, the greeting area, a portrait of Maggie McCormack of the Magnolia Hotel, the Newell Tool Room, and, the Technology Room (with telephones and other technology pieces). Some particular items of note include a neon clock, a carpeted rocker (located in the Sitting Room), local fishing paraphernalia, a City of Leesburg ballot box, and, a display case of memorabilia from our first curators. |
